What do you have?

“I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day, when it’s cold outside I’ve got the month of May.” – The Temptations

There is a bit of sun through the clouds and it is May, however I don’t think the state I find myself in is exactly what The Temptations had in mind.  Welcome to 100/100 one families journey from debt to dreams.

Our family is committing the next 100 weeks to obtaining $100,000 to pay off our debt and create a solid financial foundation.  That is $1000 a week for almost 2 years.  This money also has to be over and above what we need for living expenses.

How did we find ourselves with so much debt?  Over the next several weeks and months I can give you the dirty details but it really comes down to one thing:  student loans.

In a similar situation?  Are you past the student loan years and have some advice?  Grab a ledger and let’s get this show on the road!
